Accessing Digital Images
DOWNLOAD METHODS
METHOD A — Pay Per Download
This is the most common method; digitals images are bought a la carte, or as the whole gallery in bulk directly though the gallery page. After purchase, a download link will arrive via email, where you can download directly to your computer.
Image Sizes:
Digital images bought this way from Sean Malone Photography come in three size options and will be price accordingly:
- Small (web sharing)
- Medium (web sharing and prints up to 8x12in)
- Large/Original (web and prints 24x36in+)
METHOD B — Free-Access Download (if available)
Less common, this method is when digital images are downloadable without a transaction, because they were either included in the photo session, or they are from a gallery of free digitals.
INSTRUCTIONS
Please note – mobile device downloading on Free-Access Download method is doable, but not intuitive... I'll try to get some instructions for that here at some point.
Pay Per Download
After you select your digital images to purchase, and complete the cart checkout, a download link will arrive via email, where you can use to download directly to your computer. Pretty strait forward.
Free–Access Download
There are two methods:
Please note – you will not see these features (icon, button) if Free-Access Downloads is not available on the gallery.
One-at-a-Time Method
To download a single image from the gallery, find the Download icon atop any single-photo view (example below). Simply click that icon and the image (JPG file) will download directly to your computer.
Batch Method
To download multiple or all images from a gallery as a single download
- click the "Select" button
- select the images you want to download or click "All" at the top-left of the page
- click the "Download" button
- the images will automatically download to your downloads fold of your computer in a .zip file (a bundle of all digital downloads). Be sure to wait for it to download completely, then double-click the .zip file to see all your images
That's pretty much it. Again, if you don't see the SELECT PHOTOS or DOWNLOAD buttons, that's because downloads where not part of the session fee or the gallery isn't available for downloads without payment.
